Dear Friends: June 1, 2011
The last few years have been a time of testing and trials that have gone beyond our human vision and reason. We don’t know why God has allowed all that He has to transpire in our lives. However, my wife and I accept it and trust in Jesus Christ to provide for us based on His promises and His Holy Word.
God's Spirit moved me to start this ministry called TRANSFIGURED because I believe that Pastors are the most important leaders God has called to serve the kingdom.
I Timothy 3:1 says: “This is a true saying, if a man desires the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.”
Pastors have earned the right to be heard in the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. They have spent years of study, prayer, and worship seeking God’s direction for you and your congregation. Pastors are shepherds, counselors, leaders, and warriors.
They are also under vicious spiritual attack. They need encouragement, accountability, and a safe place among their peers. The older need to teach the younger and all need friends to continue the battle.
My plan is simple: the formation of groups of 12 Pastors; meeting once a month with a full day of challenge, support, fellowship, and refreshing of the Spirit. I will be the facilitator and keep the group focused. The group will provide its own content and problem solving under the direction of the Holy Spirit and the Bible as the ultimate authority. The final responsibility is for each individual to learn from his peers and God’s guidance. I will continue to call on Pastors throughout the month with encouragement, love and prayer.

1- Pray for wisdom for me as God reveals the continued formation of this ministry.

3- Pray for Pastors to open their hearts and realize that they are our Called leaders. We want to love them and support them! We want strong, spiritual leadership!

I know these are tough times financially, but all can pray. Some can give and some can’t. No one knows this more than me. But, if God owns everything and some have been blessed with more; maybe He just wants to reallocate what is His anyways!
Everyone agrees this is a much needed ministry. It is being built by faith and the belief that God is all He says He is!
