1And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Dear Pastor,
God's Spirit moved me to start this ministry called TRANSFIGURED because I believe you are one of the most important leaders God has called to serve the kingdom. I Timothy 3:1 says: “This is a true saying, if a man desires the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.” You are men who have earned the right to be heard in the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. You have spent years of study, prayer, and worship seeking God’s direction for you and your congregation. You are a shepherd, a counselor, a leader, and a warrior.
You are also a voice in the community that speaks out for righteousness, honesty, fairness, and for doing what is just plain right! Publicly, you show no fear; by faith you stand on the promises of God’s Word and trust in the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. Privately, you kneel in awe of the majesty, mercy, love, and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You are the special men that God has called me to serve at this time. It is my privilege because I believe that sometimes you are called to stand alone. I want to be a support to you when you grow weary in well-doing. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us: “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for the labour. For if they fall, the one will left up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.” We are not islands and God intended us to need each other!
I care deeply about you. I honor you by desiring to provide a safe outlet to keep you fresh and moving forward with vision, passion, and steadfastness. Psalm 51:12 states: “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
Oh, how our world needs men like you, battle-tested and experienced in spiritual warfare. We need you to stay strong and lead us in our churches. We need men like you who have won victories and suffered defeats in ministry. We need men like you who have been transfigured; changed from the inside-out and all for the glory of God! We need older men to teach and share with younger men so that the Word of God will echo across our land!
